Greg’s Bio

Filmmaker and Journalist Greg Hitchcock is a consummate filmmaker of documentaries that educate, enlighten, and inform. He is also a veteran journalist and writer, one whose style persuades, inspires, and entertains.

Hitchcock received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University at Albany, State University of New York, in 1992. He further gained training in multimedia studies from Full Sail University in 2014.

While at Full Sail University, Hitchcock volunteered in a special United Nations project creating assets pertaining to worldwide climate change: its problems and solutions. His asset Climate Change: The Adirondacks received an honorary mention in film from the embassies of France. Assets created were shown around North America and at the United Nations Climate Change Summit in Paris, France in 2014.

Hitchcock has over 20 years of experience in Journalism as a writer and reporter for many local, regional, and national publications from newspapers, magazines and journals, to digital content.

Hitchcock is a U.S. Army veteran who served honorably as a TV/Radio Systems Specialist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. from 1985 to 1987.
